When the company was conceived in 1969, as a creative typography studio, its DNA already contained the ambition to constantly innovate. Throughout its early life — and even more so today — this ambition inspired the company and the family of entrepreneurs who created and nurtured it.
At the dawn of the digital communications age in the 1980s, the agency emerged as a prodigy in electronic publishing and, subsequently, cutting-edge Web technologies.
In the new millennium, thanks to its acquisitions and perseverance, Tonik Groupimage grew its expertise, and became the first omnichannel studio (electronic production, Web, graphic design, media, event planning and photography). Able to provide its clients with a 100% integrated offering and turnkey service, the agency further strived to become a leader in omnichannel delivery.
Since then, Tonik Groupimage has taken its place as one of the largest independent agencies in Montréal offering integrated service. It’s expanding its marketing communications mindset, and focusing on creativity in all of its services. The agency provides experiences full of meaning and truth, in line with its clients’ progress and thrust.
THE&CO model relies on three markers that have always been part of its DNA: creativity, agility and guidance. Inspired by Aristotle’s maxim “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts”, &CO adopted an ideology based on collaborative effort and the human element: the name therefore symbolizes “together”. &CO is merged with its clients’ names, both equal in importance to them and entirely behind them, showing our complementarity and our drive to help them meet their objectives.
