World leader in the manufacturing of optical lenses, Essilor has a presence in the market under the
Varilux, Eyezen, Crizal and Xperio banners. In an industry where the offering may seem complex for
consumers, ESSILOR&CO conceptualized the Sun Offer in order to increase the perceived value of
tinted lenses. It was fully supported by a new design and the creation of ad pieces.
A very powerful design and a look inspired by high fashion were developed to quickly and positively position the product in consumers’ minds, while focusing on the lenses. Posters, brochures and a display were devised to equip eye care professionals.
A display in campaign colours was distributed to opticians who offer Essilor products. Consumers were invited to try ten different tinted lenses to see which ones they preferred.
