As part of the entry-level furniture industry, EconoMax is a staple in the Québec market with its 11 retail locations and online store. In an industry where consumer perception can be negative, ECONOMAX&CO conceived a Boxing Day campaign that allowed it to be present during this key time of year, and to upend the paradigms of low-cost furniture.

While still complying with the brand identity and its bright colours, ECONOMAX&CO added a touch of humour to stand out at a time of year when advertising noise is exponential. Based on the traditional Québec Christmas song “La p’tite jument”, this famous rigadoon was revisited to highlight low Boxing Day prices, while ensuring that viewers get the tune stuck in their heads for most of the day after seeing the commercial!
